The use of 3v3 basketball court floor tiles (tiles) has become increasingly popular in recent years, especially in outdoor and temporary venues. PP (polypropylene) floor tiles have become the preferred material for laying basketball courts due to their durability, non-slip and easy installation. This article will introduce the size of 3v3 basketball floor tiles and their installation steps.

Floor tile size

PP floor tiles usually adopt standardized sizes, the common ones are:
30cm x 30cm (12 inches x 12 inches)
25cm x 25cm (10 inches x 10 inches)
These sizes of floor tiles are suitable for basketball courts of various specifications, especially 3v3 basketball courts. The standard size of 3v3 basketball courts is usually 15 meters long and 11 meters wide, so using standard size floor tiles can be easily laid and maintained.

Installation steps

Site preparation
Make sure the site is flat, dry and free of debris. If the ground is uneven, it needs to be leveled. Clean up dust and debris on the site to ensure a clean surface.

 Planning and measurement
According to the standard size of the 3v3 basketball court, determine the laying area of the floor tiles, make detailed measurements and markings, plan the position of each floor tile, and ensure neat arrangement and overall beauty.

Laying floor tiles
Start laying PP floor tiles from one corner of the venue, row by row and column by column. Each floor tile should be closely spliced, and adjacent floor tiles are usually connected together by buckles to ensure overall stability. Use a rubber hammer to tap the floor tiles to ensure that they are tightly combined with the ground.

Cutting and adjustment
For floor tiles that need to be cut at the edges and corners, accurately measure and cut to ensure that the floor tiles fit closely with the boundaries of the venue. Use cutting tools carefully to ensure that the size of the cut floor tiles is accurate and beautiful.

Completion and inspection
After laying, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the entire venue to ensure that each floor tile is flat and firm. If there are loose or uneven floor tiles, they need to be adjusted and repaired in time.
