Synthetic Running Track Composition

Types of Running Tracks We Supply

Full PU Athletic Track

We use the highest quality innovative PU elastic material, a runway material with high customer feedback rate and purchase rate. It is characterized by high adhesion to the foundation, high cohesive strength, and good toughness. It uses mixed environmentally friendly EPDM color particles, and meets IAAF standards, and can be used in professional competition venues.

Hybrid Running Track(Competition System) 

We use high-quality PU elastic material mixed with pure tire SBR black particles on the bottom layer, which will make the overall elastic density high, strong wear resistance, more uniform and long-lasting color, strong adhesion to the foundation, high toughness, and no particles exposed Condition. The surface of the runway is sprayed with high-quality EPDM granular materials, which also meet the IAAF standards and can be used for professional competitions.

• Spray Coating Running Track(Trainning System)

This is the most popular synthetic track system and is an excellent choice for schools, area tracks and athletic training facilities. For low to medium use apply 12mm base and 3mm texture spray coat. It provides very good pressure relief and is very durable. Applied with a spray consisting of polyurethane compound and fine EPDM particles, sprayed onto a base pad of rubber crumb and clear polyurethane adhesive, resulting in a textured spray top surface for a cost-effective solution.

Composite Running Track / Sandwich System Running Track(Trainning System)

The sandwich system consists of a high usage 10mm base material and a 3mm EPDM layer. The top is a transparent polyurethane adhesive, the sandwich system provides good shock absorption and cushioning properties, and is installed as a rubber crumb base pad, the base layer is sealed with a thinner mixture of EPDM rubber particles and polyurethane, and the last A surface layer of colored EPDM particles is cast over a pan layer of polyurethane compound.

Unlike traditional poured-in-place systems, these factory-vulcanized rubber rolls ensure 100% thickness consistency and zero on-site mixing errors. It is a non-toxic, all-weather solution that requires minimal maintenance, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional polyurethane tracks.

What is the structure of a running track?

Generally, when we choose a runway, we will look at its own advantages. In fact, there are some problems that are ignored, that is, the structure of the runway. When we look at the structure and then choose the type of runway you want, this will help you valuable.

The spray coat running track generally consists of five parts.  The bottom layer is the foundation layer, usually made of concrete or asphalt as the bottom.  An adhesive primer will be added on top, limited to the use of MDI PU adhesive JN01.  The next step is our buffer layer, which is generally about 9-10mm.  MDI PU binder JN01 is mixed with SBR rubber granules to form a new layer.  Then we spray on our surface layer, using mixed UV paint, combined with EPDM rubber granules (0.5-2mm), and adding a scribe line with a width of 50mm.  The material is PU outdoor scribe paint R19, which constitutes our spray coating track.

The foundation of the sandwich system running track is concrete as the bottom layer, using PU waterproof paint FD01. The buffer layer (9-10mm) is the same as the spray coat runway. It uses MDI PU binder JN01 mixed with SBR rubber granules. On this basis, it needs to add a layer of sealing layer to protect it. Mix up the sealing pain with SBR fine rubber. Then add wet pour wear-resistant paint to form Wear Coating. On the surface of the runway, EPDM rubber granules are used to mix UV paint to form a spray effect. Finally, add PU outdoor scribe paint to scribe, the width is also about 50mm.

The foundation of the full PU running track is also concrete, and the primer is PU waterproof paint.   Wet pour about 8mm buffer coating to form a protective effect.   Next to be applied is the wear coat, limited to the use of wet pour buffer coatings.   On the surface of the runway, spray mixed UV paint, made by mixing with EPDM rubber granules.   The last is the step of scribing.   The raw material used is PU outdoor scribing paint, and the width is also 50mm.
