Rubber gym floors are ideal for floor protection and shock absorption, but it's crucial to secure them correctly. Snap fastening is a common method.

Make sure the floor surface is clean and free of any dust or debris. Cleaning the floor ensures that the rubber flooring will fit evenly and avoid unevenness or blistering.

Next, place the first piece of rubber flooring on one side of the installation area. Make sure the floor is aligned with the wall or other edge to ensure that the entire floor is neat and nice when installed. Place the second piece of rubber flooring next to the first, making sure the seam between them is as tight as possible. At this point, you need to make sure that each edge of the floor is perfectly aligned with the adjacent floor.

Insert the tabs into the side of the first floorboard and align them with the side of the second floorboard. Depending on the thickness and design of the flooring, it may be necessary to lightly tap the clips to ensure they are securely attached. Continue repeating this process until all rubber flooring is installed. During the installation process, you need to regularly check whether the floor is level to ensure that the entire floor is flat and stable.

Seal the edges of the floor using rubber flooring-specific edge components or custom edge strips. This not only adds to the aesthetics of the floor, but also prevents the edges from lifting or getting damaged.

Fixing a gym rubber floor requires some skill and patience, but it's actually quite easy to do. By properly clearing the floor, accurately aligning it, and attaching it securely, you can ensure that your flooring is flat, stable, and durable after installation. Using snap-fastening methods simplifies the installation process and ensures a more satisfying overall flooring effect.
