Completed inastall in 25 Days
To ensure that this track delivered tournament-level performance within a tight 25-day turnkey construction window, UNISPORT's field engineers coordinated labor and material logistics to supervise every phase of the on-site work:
1. Asphalt/Concrete Sub-Base Auditing
The levelness and slope of the foundation were strictly measured with advanced laser levels. We ensured the lateral slope was kept under 0.8% to guarantee immediate rain runoff. The base moisture level was verified to be under 8% before application.
2. Foundation Priming
The specialized vapor-barrier primer was applied evenly via high-pressure mechanical sprayers to ensure a complete, pinhole-free sealing layer.
3. Layer-by-Layer Elastomeric Casting
The solid PU base was applied in multiple, precise wet-poured liquid layers. This self-leveling PU matrix cures into a seamless elastomeric cushion with zero weak joints.
4. Top-Layer Granule Scattering (Full Pour Method)
High-density, virgin EPDM granules (size 1-3mm) were densely scattered over the wet liquid PU top-coat. After curing, excess granules were mechanically swept away, leaving a highly structured, anti-slip surface that withstands rigorous spikes wear without granule shedding.
5. Precision Scribing and Lane Marking
Scribing was executed by senior technicians using high-precision laser-guided measurement instruments strictly adhering to the World Athletics Track and Field Facilities Manual, ensuring millimeter-level accuracy for competitive sports lanes.
5-Layer Professional Structure of the Full PU System
This track employs a premium 5-layer, non-permeable solid elastomeric construction. This classic layout ensures optimal thickness distribution, maximum physical cohesion, and long-term mechanical protection:
Layer 1: Waterproof Primer (0.15–0.2 kg/m²): A high-penetration polyurethane primer that deeply seals the concrete pores, preventing moisture rising from the sub-base and ensuring perfect bonding.
Layer 2: Elastic Base Cushion (approx. 9mm): A durable core composed of solvent-free liquid polyurethane binder blended with premium SBR granules to deliver robust shock absorption and high elastic rebound.
Layer 3: Self-Leveling Reinforcement (approx. 2mm): A high-strength, two-component solid polyurethane self-leveling layer that reinforces the entire elastic core and seals off any uneven surface spots.
Layer 4: Wear-Resistant EPDM Top Face (approx. 2mm): High-purity, color-stable virgin EPDM granules (size 1–3mm) are densely scattered over the wet top-coat liquid PU, forming an anti-slip, spike-resistant wear surface.
Layer 5: Aliphatic Polyurethane Line Marking: Millimeter-accurate competitive track markings applied with premium, non-yellowing aliphatic PU paint to guarantee maximum weather and UV durability.
