How to install basketball court tiles?

Installing basketball court tiles is a simple and efficient process, which usually includes the following steps:

1. Construction preparation
Site inspection: Make sure the ground is flat, clean, dry, and has no obvious potholes or protrusions.
Temperature conditions: When installing the floor, the temperature should be between 10°C and 40°C to avoid excessive cold or heat affecting the splicing effect of the floor.
Tool preparation:
Rubber hammer
Measuring tools (tape measure, level)
Cutting tools (such as electric saws for corner adjustment)
Line drawing tools (such as ink lines, tape)

2. Site measurement and planning
Measure the size of the field: Make sure the field meets the international basketball court size standard (28 meters × 15 meters) or adjust it according to actual needs.
Divide the area: Mark areas such as the three-point line, free throw area, and center circle for subsequent assembly.

3. Floor assembly
Determine the starting point: Start installation from one corner of the field, usually starting from the baseline or sideline, and lay it in sequence to the other side of the field.
Splicing floors:
Align the raised and grooved points of each floor and gently press them in by hand.
Tap the joints of the floor with a rubber hammer to ensure they are firm.
If you encounter obstacles (such as pillars or boundaries), use a cutting tool to adjust the shape of the floor.
Pay attention to alignment: Make sure the joints of the floor are neat to avoid looseness or misalignment.

4. Install edge strips and protective strips
Edge strip installation: Install edge strips around the field to protect and beautify the field.
Fix the edges: For long-term use, you can use strong glue or screws to fix the edge area.

5. Marking line drawing
Field cleaning: Clean the floor surface to ensure there is no dust and debris.
Paste the marking line: Use wear-resistant tape or spray paint to draw the three-point line, free throw line and center circle according to standard dimensions.
Confirm durability: Choose durable and non-slip marking materials.

6. Inspection and testing
Inspect assembly: Confirm that each floor is firm, without warping or looseness.
Safety test: Have players run and bounce on the field to ensure that the floor is flat and stable.

7. Subsequent maintenance
Clean the floor regularly to avoid sand and stone damage.
Avoid using heavy machinery or sharp objects on the floor.
If the floor is found to be loose or damaged, repair or replace it in time.
Through the above steps, you can quickly complete the installation of the assembled floor for the basketball court. If you need professional services or customized solutions, you can contact us GZUNISPORT!
