FAQ
1. How to choose the interlocking tile thickness?
Thickness primarily affects cushioning and athletic performance. The choice should balance athletic performance and protection needs. 15mm is thinner, resulting in a higher ball bounce rate and faster movement feedback, suitable for speed- and skill-based training or non-high-intensity matches. 20mm or thicker provides better cushioning and joint protection, making it more suitable for long-duration, high-intensity training, matches, and safety-critical venues.
2. Will the floor edges or center of the court warp or shift after installation?
If installed correctly, it will not. The tile is tightly interlocked to form a whole, and thermal expansion and contraction allow for slight adjustments between each panel. Special edge trim is used around the perimeter of the court to prevent displacement.
3. How to replace damaged sections?
This is one of the biggest advantages of interlocking tiles. Simply use tools to unlock the tiles around the damaged module, remove the damaged tile, replace it with a new tile, and relock it. There's no need to damage or replace the entire court.
